Camp Lejeune Chapter Lead:
Brittany’s life has been shaped by the Marine Corps from the very beginning. Born aboard Camp Lejeune to two Marines—her father a survivor of the 1983 Beirut bombing—grew up surrounded by a legacy of service, sacrifice, and resilience. Years later, she returned to Camp Lejeune as a Marine Corps spouse, where her husband is preparing to retire after more than 20 years of service. Together, they have spent 16 years traveling the world, navigating deployments and PCS moves, and raising their family, including welcoming their daughter during her husband’s year-long deployment to Afghanistan and their son while stationed in Okinawa, Japan. These experiences have shaped her belief that community is built, not given: If you want a village, you must be a villager.
That belief is at the heart of her leadership within the military community. A recipient of the Molly Pitcher Award for her service to the artillery community, Brittany went on to found and lead Molly Meetups, an artillery spouse volunteer organization with more than 20 consistent volunteers each month. She also founded and leads a monthly Deployment Support Group, creating connection and peer support for spouses navigating deployments. As VP of Advancement for the Camp Lejeune Leadership Seminar (CLLS), she supports leadership development, strategic growth, donor engagement, outreach, and event planning. Through these efforts she works to create stability, preserve traditions, empower spouses to lead, and strengthen military families. For Brittany, the greatest measure of impact isn’t a title or event; it is the trust of a spouse who knows she can call when they need an emergency contact, help with groceries, childcare, or simply someone to show up.
