My husband has been on Active Duty orders since Hurricane Katrina, 15 years up until the revolutionary stage of IGR ( Inactive Guard Reserve ) to become a full time private contractor OCONUS. This is an unprecedented category, as most strive to reach 20 years or more. This unique opportunity afforded to us, has led his 92Y Supply Career to a major private contract & pursuit of Six Sigma. I’m traveling with him, as my business as an organizer can be versatile for military families. I started organizing at 16, with an internship on a multimillion dollar municipal project. At the same time, overwhelmed moms were calling to schedule a reset of their homeschool spaces. Now, over 20 years later, I have had a richly rewarding career helping plan and redesign spaces for success and peace of mind.
