Ashley and Heather met while employed as speech-language pathologists in Davis School District in 2014. Ashley began offering home-based speech therapy services to private pay and TriCare beneficiaries with AGB Speech Therapy. Aware that her husband's military service would eventually take them elsewhere, Ashley encouraged Heather to begin Better Learning Speech Therapy to prevent an area gap in services. In 2017, Ashley and Heather operated competing businesses from the same leased space. They sublet to add occupational therapy. Better Learning Therapies was born in 2019 when they officially merged their companies. They moved to a larger location to accommodate a feeding therapy program. That June, they expanded to offer occupational therapy in house. COVID jump-started their planned teletherapy services in 2020 and their team pivoted over a weekend without a gap in services. We are currently offering speech-language, feeding, occupational and physical therapy services in over 800 appointments per month.
