Hi, I’m Yanette, and I write under the pen name YES — a tribute to my initials and a reminder to always say yes to passion, creativity, and the stories that set our hearts on fire. I’m currently working on my debut fantasy romance novel, the first of an anticipated trilogy filled with magic, myth, and resilience. Storytelling has always been part of who I am, whether through words, movement, or community. As a military spouse, aerialist, and fire performer, I’ve learned to balance strength with grace, daring with discipline — setting the sky on fire and dancing through it. I believe in living with intention, creating with joy, and lifting others along the way.
