Military Spouse Chamber of Commerce Joins White House Initiative to Support Military Families

The Military Spouse Chamber of Commerce (MSCC) is honored to serve as a participant in Joining Forces, the White House initiative dedicated to supporting military and veteran families, caregivers, and survivors.

Since its inception, Joining Forces has worked to strengthen opportunities and resources for those who serve our nation alongside our military members. The initiative focuses on key areas impacting military families, including economic opportunity, health and well-being, and community support. Among its primary priorities is advancing employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for military spouses.

As the nation’s leading advocate and authority on military spouse-owned businesses, the Military Spouse Chamber of Commerce is proud to contribute its expertise to this important effort. Through years of direct engagement with military spouse entrepreneurs, policymakers, corporate leaders, and community partners, MSCC has developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing military spouse business owners.

Military spouses are among the most resilient and innovative entrepreneurs in the country. Frequent relocations, licensing barriers, career interruptions, and the demands of military life often inspire spouses to create businesses that provide flexibility, financial stability, and meaningful career fulfillment. Yet many continue to face obstacles that limit access to capital, contracting opportunities, certification programs, and business development resources.

Through its participation in Joining Forces, MSCC is helping elevate the voices of military spouse entrepreneurs at the national level. By sharing insights, data, and real-world experiences from the military spouse business community, the Chamber seeks to ensure that policies and programs are designed to foster greater economic opportunity and long-term business success.

“Our role is to serve as the authoritative voice for military spouse-owned businesses,” said the Military Spouse Chamber of Commerce. “We are committed to ensuring that military spouse entrepreneurs are recognized, supported, and included in conversations that shape the future of small business and economic development in America.”

This collaboration represents another important step toward creating a stronger ecosystem for military spouse-owned businesses. By working alongside government leaders, private-sector partners, and fellow advocates, MSCC remains dedicated to expanding opportunities for military spouse entrepreneurs and strengthening the economic resilience of military families nationwide.

The Military Spouse Chamber of Commerce looks forward to continuing its work with Joining Forces and advancing solutions that empower military spouses to build, grow, and sustain successful businesses wherever military life takes them.

Together, we are building a future where military spouse entrepreneurs are not only supported—but recognized as essential contributors to America’s economy and communities.
