A bit of background on our vision: I remember how difficult it was trying to create (and keep) my own career path when I was a younger USMC wife. State license reciprocity was not even a thought and our family moved (what seemed like) almost every year... how in the world was I supposed to find a job I enjoyed while still being able to take care of two small kids, a dog, and a home with a partner who was rarely around? Well, I lucked out to a certain extent, as I was able to fall into an adjunct online instructor position, which I kept for over 15 years- but it just was not where my passion was. Mindful Vision Counseling's aim is to help military spouses (et al) have one less worry when it comes to their professional lives. Career consistency, flexibility, collaboration and empowerment in shaping what our ideal working situations look like are paramount to our goals.
