Operation Child Care LLC
Kayla Corbitt has been a military family advocate for the last decade. She has volunteered for and been employed by many institutions supporting the Department of Defense including the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, and the Department of Defense Education Activity. Kayla is credited with developing the first in house Leadership Development training and consultation for Fort Meade. Kayla has volunteered outside of the Department of Defense for the last three years as a Crisis Counselor and a hospital response Victim Advocate. Assisting others in crisis is a passion that drove Kayla to obtain credentialing as a Victim Advocate in 2019. Kayla has experienced frequent relocations due to her partners career in the U.S. Military. This experience has allowed for first hand knowledge of the struggles that military families are experiencing. Kayla has used this knowledge to petition for change with many organizations including U.S. Army Medical Command, Army Community Services, and roundtable discussions with Child Care Aware of America.
