Sheri is a native of New York and has worked for the government for over 15 years while moving to various military duty stations. Prior to leaving the government sector she was a Hospital Administrator at the Fayetteville NC Veterans Health Administration where she was the Administrative Officer over the Primary Care service line serving over 80,000 veterans. She has a long-standing background in caring for our veterans and active-duty service members and their families. She received her BA in Business Information Systems with a minor in Business Administration from Ashford University and her MBA in Healthcare Management from Liberty University. Over the years Sheri developed a strong sense of devotion for the government healthcare systems over 20 years ago as a beneficiary of services and employee with the Department of Army. This experience gave her a deep appreciation for how healthcare is administered. She is compelled to service active duty, veterans and their families and improve their quality of life. Her goal is to do her part and work towards improving the lives of those that have served and have the potential to serve. Sheri is currently a business owner, business and personnel development coach currently servicing the Johnston and Cumberland County areas. Her years of experience has made her an expert in healthcare processes, procurement, system development, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), and client services. She is well versed on process improvement systems to propel you and/or your business forward. Today she is doing just that with her non-profit organization Obedience of Faith Corporation which teaches life skill to youths and young adults, Extended Hands Assisted Living & Home Care LLC which offers both an opportunity for quality care to take place for those senior that desire to age in place at home or at the assisted living facility. Sheri is focused on ensuring that her organizations and partnerships have the same vision to improve our communities by truly taking care of those that will one day lead it as well as those that has had to put the torch down and rest. She believes if she could have the younger generation understand the impact of the older generation as well as their power the communities, they are a part of will reap the benefits immediately.
