A message of hope and encouragement is what the owner, Shelley Obilam, offers in her new product called Scripture Sweets. Scripture Sweets satisfies the palate of chocolate lovers and enthusiasts. As an innovator and writer, Shelley’s profession as a Technical Writer with over 15 years of experience in Biotech-pharmaceuticals and as an author, allows her to express thought and intent in her writings. This gift extends to her passion for Scripture Sweets that have biblical scriptures printed on a red ribbon with chocolate bars packaged as a Bible. This novel idea was developed to get the Word of God to seeking souls. Scripture Sweets serves as a double treat: the taste of chocolate and savor of the Word of God. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Arcadia University, Shelley hoped of becoming an Analytical Chemist, which she became and performed as her career for 10 years before becoming a Technical Writing. Shelley is actively involved in her church as a writer for her church's Encounter Magazine. She attends church with her husband who is a Chaplain with the United States Army Reserve (USAR). Shelley is a native Philadelphian and resides in the suburbs of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
