Founders First CDC provides grants and awards to diverse-led small businesses. These grants are usually paired with educational programs, accelerator access, scholarships, or other supports.

Job Creators Quest Grant (Founders First CDC)

• For diverse owner-led businesses (BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, veteran, women, or located in low-to-moderate income (LMI) areas), Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
• Grant criteria: • Act as a for-profit company with annual revenues from $100,000-$3 million • Current employees 2-10 • Ability to add 1-2 new employees in the next 12 months

Kitty Fund

• Micro-grants to “mompreneurs” (women-founder small businesses).
• The Kitty Fund provides small grants to mompreneurs across the country in honor of founder Kim Folsom’s mother. 
• $25,000 disbursed in 2021 (50 grants of $500 each) 
• $12,500 disbursed in 2020 (25 grants of $500 each)
